Here are some of my favourite Spring/Summer 2008 RTW looks . . .

I absolutely LOVE coffee . . . so when I first saw this I was in heaven! My love of caffeine & the theatrical merging was berLISS! Lavazza was launching its 2008 Calendar at Sydney Harbour surrounded with all the pretty and important people being served by powder-wigged men in white tights and red lipstick, and seranaded by the angelic gentle strumming of the harp. Mmm...

Vogue Australia notes . . .
"Lavazza first unveiled its 2008 calendar at the Palace of Versailles in October, before embarking on a series of prestigious launch parties around the globe. Sydney’s Opera House played host to the calendar’s Australian preview this month, with an exclusive crowd attending the official unveiling ceremony."

Isn't this just great? I love the aesthetic of Slovenian label NoeNoe. Maja Rolc seems to take an architectural take on this piece which is quite fresh, to be honest. It's worth checking out her site. . .

As far as I'm concerned, style is far more important than fashion as it's personal and not based on seasonal trends or the voice of an elect few who each year get together and decide for the rest of us what the new trends will be.
Each piece is designed and hand made in the Melbourne studio of young designer Suzi Kyriakidis. Suzi is an emerging artist and designer who launched Since.accessories in 2006. Having recently completed a design degree, Suzi is now working towards her Fine Arts degree majoring in Gold and Silversmithing, at RMIT University in Melbourne.
Suzi also has an ongoing collaboration with Melbourne-based clothing store BODY, working with BODY designer and owner Dainy Sawatsky to produce exclusive ranges of jewellery under the Since.for BODY label.
Since. designs are distinctively stylish, handmade and individual. Characterised by Suzi’s signature attention to detail and high quality finish, these accessories are designed to be treasured by the wearer.
